It's easy to explore the land of four rivers by ATV. You can ride from the front door of many Rusk County lodging properties into the far reaches of the area's backcountry. ATV road routes are located throughout the county, allowing riders to travel from one community to another and access key trailheads. The county's bridges offer beautiful river views. Rusk County's logging roads provide miles of riding adventure -- 80,000 acres of county forest land are open to ATV use, with the exception of a few restricted areas. ATV trails and county forest lands are open to ATVs from the Friday of Memorial Day weekend until December 31 (or when snowmobile trail grooming starts).
