To ride on the county trails your ATV/UTV/Off-Road Motorcycle must be registered and licensed.
An additional pass is required for out of state riders and is available at any DNR licensing station or online.
Passes are good from July 1 through June 30 of each year.

- Cattail Trail - open year-round - off road motorcycles allowed spring/summer/fall
- Clear Lake-Clayton - open year-round - off road motorcycles allowed spring/summer/fall
- Sterling - open June 1 to November 15 - off road motorcycles not allowed
- Gandy Dancer Trail - ATVs/UTVs are not allowed on the Gandy Dancer Trail except from December 1st through March 31st once trails are officially open.
We ask that all users stay off any side trails and respect other trail users.
