2018 WATVA Annual Meeting Save the Date

Hello WATVA members, friends and Trail Ambassadors,

I just wanted to reach out to you all about some upcoming important dates to mark your calendars for.

  • First, I wanted to remind everyone, the Annual Workshops, Awards Banquet and Meeting is coming soon! The dates are April 6th - 8th. The meeting has again been expanded to a three-day event, taking place at the Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center in Rothschild (just south of Wausau).

Friday morning, April 6th - While not officially part of the WATVA / NOHVIS meetings, the Governor's ORV Council will start at 8:00 AM at the same location. If you've never had a chance to sit in on one of these important ORV Council meetings, this may be a perfect time to take advantage of the same location!

Continuing after lunch on Friday the 6th - After a 2 ½ year pause, we are scheduling a Trail Ambassador Training & Update. That same Friday evening, we have another special workshop developing, more details for future Trail Ambassadors will follow soon, so stay alert, this new addition will be a HUGE positive for our Ambassador program.

Saturday, April 7th Day two - Our educational workshops covering relevant ATV / UTV topics will be a full day starting in the morning. Come early, bring your friends and your questions / comments. Final agenda topics will be posted soon.

Saturday evening - The awards & recognition ceremony will be after dinner. An optional evening meal, a perfect time and place to meet other members will also be posted soon.

Sunday morning, April 8th - The WATVA annual meeting, reports from our Regional Coordinators and Board Members take place. This setting is also where we take a lot of input from our clubs and members.

The meeting will take place at Stoney Creek Hotel and Conference Center, located at 1100 Imperial Ave, Rothschild, WI 54474. StoneyCreekHotels.com or call (715) 355-6858.

WATVA has a room block with a discounted rate of $95.00 that will be active until March 06, 2018, should you be looking for lodging. When you call, mention you are reserving for WATVA's Annual Meeting and want the discounted price.

Further information and links for the meeting sign up will be following shortly.
