Red Arrow Snowmobile ATV Club to hold 42nd Annual Fish A Ree fundraiser

Red Arrow Snowmobile ATV Club of Townsend is holding their 42nd Annual Fish A Ree on Saturday February 18th & Sunday the 19th The event will be held at the Townsend Town Hall in Townsend. Event hours will be from 11AM till 6PM Saturday and Noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday. All funds raised are used to maintain and better the snowmobile and ATV trails in the Townsend area. This is a "Family Fun" event…come by sled, car, truck or van. The event is open to the public and features D J Music, Food, Beverages, Meat Raffles and a Fishing Contest. 40 Great Raffle Prizes Include: 1st – $500.00 Gas Card provided by Lotter's Shell, Townsend, 2nd Snowmobile Helmet with heated face shield donated by Antigo Yamaha, 3rd Snowmobile Jacket and shirt donated by PowerSports of Abrams, 4th Snowmobile Jacket and Helmet donated by TA Motorsports of Francis Creek and 5th & 6th Prizes are ATV/Snowmobile Oil Change & Sweatshirt donated by Prime Powersports of Shawano. There are 34 more chances to win with prizes donated by many of the businesses in our area. Thanks to all of them for helping Red Arrow. Fishing Contest: A $50.00 cash prize will be awarded for the largest (by weight) Northern, Walleye, Bass and Panfish. In addition, all second and third place fish (by weight) will be entered in a drawing for a $50.00 gas card and some fishing gear. Fish can be caught at any area lake (within 20 miles of Townsend) and must be freshly caught during the event. There is a $10.00 registration fee. Per DNR rules fish may not be returned to the water after being brought to the event. Fishing contest Pre-registration will be offered during normal business hours at Pintsch's Hardware/Bait Shop in Townsend and Mighty Fine Live Bait Shop in Lakewood on Friday and Saturday till noon. Registration is at the Fish A Ree Saturday from 11AM to 5PM and noon till 2:30 PM on Sunday. You do not need to be present to win prizes which will be awarded at 3:30 on Sunday.
